Amazon Prime Video has revealed the premiere date for “The Boys” Season 3.

The third season of Amazon Prime’s superhero series “The Boys” will premiere with its first three episodes on Friday, June 3, 2022. The announcement came in at the end of the latest episode of the Amazon Prime Video web series Seven on 7 With Cameron Coleman. The show is a tie-in to The Boys, offering fans BTS and glimpses into The Boys universe.

The first look of the new season shows Homelander and Starlight posing for the press. As the camera points on Homelander, he looks doubtful failing to keep his smile before the premiere date flashes on the screen. The Boys is based on the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Eric Kripke is the creator of the show. The Boys is set in the Universe where superheroes abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. The series primarily focuses on two groups: the Seven, Vought’s premier superhero team, and the eponymous Boys, vigilantes looking to bring down Vought and its corrupt superheroes.

The first season premiered on Amazon Prime on July 26, 2019, followed by the second season in Sep 2020. The third season of “The Boys” will debut with its first three episodes on Friday, June 3, 2022.

Just like the second season, the third season will roll out episodes on weekly basis. The remaining five episodes of the third season will release on Friday after the premiere. The season finale is expected to be on Amazon Prime on July 8, 2022.

The Boys Season 3 stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit and series newcomer Jensen Ackles.

The first two seasons of The Boys are available to stream on Prime Video.
