First big release of Bollywood 2015 is all set for release this Friday at Box Office. Tevar is a pure masala action drama starring Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Manoj Bajpayee in lead roles. The movie has created enough buzz before its release thanks to its trailer and a fresh starcast. The songs of the movie despite being pathetic are slowly getting noticed and catching up with the music lovers. Salman Ka Fan is already a big hit.
Tevar is a remake of Telugu Blockbuster Okkadu starring Mahesh Babu. Though, the story seems old its a treatment and presentation which may work with the audience. Arjun Kapoor is in terrific form at Box Office with his last two movies 2 States and Gunday being super-hit.
It’s good to see powerful actor like Manoj Bajpayee in masala potboiler. Arjun and Sonakshi enjoys a good fan following specially in mass centers. Their chemistry is certainly looking good onscreen. One thing is sure that Tevar will have to face a stiff competition from PK in multiplexes as PK is still going strong and Tevar is certainly not a movie for masses.

Tevar is releasing on a good screen count of 2000-2200 screens. This is a very good figure considering that the movie don’t have very big names like Khans.

Total Budget of the movie is around 55 crores which includes 15 crores of printing, promotion and advertising.
Considering all the above facts, Tevar is expected to have a decent start at Box Office. The movie is expected to have an opening day of around 7 to 8 crores which would be considered as a good start. More will depend on the content and WOM. If the WOM and reviews comes out to be positive then Tevar could easily cross 50 crores at domestic Box Office.
