Sweet Tooth Season 1 plot and other details
Sweet Tooth is based on the DC comic of the same name by author Jeff Lemire. The show takes place in a post-apocalyptic world when “The Great Crumble” wreaked havoc on the world and led to the mysterious appearance of hybrid babies born part human, part animal.
A shielded hybrid deer boy named Gus living in the secluded forest home with his sickly and unstable father. When his father dies of sickness, Gus gets alone in a world and almost gets kidnaped by a deadly group of men, until a mysterious loner named Jepperd rescues him.
Together they set out on an extraordinary journey in search of answers—about Gus’ origins, Jepperd’s past, and the true meaning of home. Gus soon realizes that the rich, world outside the forest is more complicated than he ever could have imagined.
The Netflix summary of the show reads, “On a perilous adventure across a post-apocalyptic world, a lovable boy who’s half-human and half-deer searches for a new beginning with a gruff protector.”
