Sultan 1st Day Collection – Salman Khan’s Sultan creates history, records 3rd highest opening day collection of all time in Bollywood.
As expected, Salman Khan’s Sultan is off to a huge opening at the domestic Box Office. Released on 4350 screens in India, the movie sets the Box Office on fire and earned 36.54 crores on its opening day. Sultan becomes the highest non-holiday opening day grosser of Bollywood.
As per official figures shared by Trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Sultan collected 36.54 crores on its first day to become the third highest opening day grosser of all time. Sultan 1st Day Collection: Occupancy Report
The movie got off to a thunderous start and registered an occupancy of around 80% in the morning shows across the country. The occupancy in the noon shows was a bit low because of pre-Eid celebrations. In the evening shows, the occupancy remained same as the noon shows. This is the highest occupancy registered by a Bollywood movie on the first day. Shahrukh Khan’s Happy New Year and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo also got off to a similar openings.

Sultan is the third highest opening day grosser of all time after Happy New Year and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Salman Khan has once again proved that he is the real Box Office king of Bollywood. With superb reviews and positive WOM coming in, Sultan is expected to shatter more Box Office records in coming days. The movie is now eyeing 180+ crores opening weekend at the Box Office.
