After a superb second weekend with the collection of 34 crores, Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sultan holds well on its second Monday. The movie witnessed expected drop in the collections with the start of new week. As per early estimates, Sultan 13th day collection will be in the range of 4.5 to 5 crores. Standing at the collection of 268 crores, Sultan is expected to beat Dhoom 3 (280 crores) by this Thursday to become the third highest grosser of all time. As expected Sultan started low on Monday with the overall occupancy in the morning shows was around 105 to 15%. Mass circuits which have been the strong point for Sultan witnessed huge drops. The movie witnessed some growth as the day progressed. The day was saved by the good numbers in evening and nights shows in metros and multiplexes. With the collection of 5 crores on its second Monday, Sultan now stands at the total collection of around 268 crores. The movie is expected to beat Dhoom 3 (280 crores) by this Thursday to become the third highest grosser of all time. Sultan is now the fifth movie after PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dhoom 3 and Baahubali to gross 500 crores worldwide.

Sultan needs to capitalize on the coming weekend to cross 300 crores mark, beat the lifetime collection of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. It would be difficult for the movie to beat PK’s lifetime collection.
