26 Jan 2020 is tuning out a big day for Bollywood as all three films are performing exceptionally well. Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji is rewriting box office history. It is just unstoppable at the box office. Varun Dhawan‘s Street Dancer 3D also picked up the pace on Sunday. Let’s have a detailed look at Street Dancer 3D 3rd day, Tanhaji 17th day box office collection.
Street Dancer 3D 3rd day box office collection
After an average opening, Varun Dhawan’s Street Dancer 3D saw decent growth on Saturday and collected Rs 13.2 crore. Now, the film took full advantage of the Republic Day holiday. It performed well in multiplexes as well as mass centres. Running on 3700 screens, the film is recording around 60% occupancy on Sunday. This is a pretty good number.
Early estimates suggest that Street Dancer 3D 3rd day collection would be around Rs 18 crore. The first weekend collection would be Rs 40+ crore. The film witnessed good growth over the weekend but that mainly because the opening wasn’t up to the mark. It would be interesting to see, how well Street Dancer 3D holds on Monday.
Tanhaji 17th day box office collection
Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji is just unstoppable as it recorded 60% occupancy in the morning shows on Sunday. The trending is just historic as the film is running in its third week. This kind of trending was last seen for Bahubali 2 and Dangal.
Tanhaji witnessed huge growth in the noon shows as the occupancy was around 85%. Running on around 2000 screens, the film is facing capacity problem in some circuits. This is just incredible.
Early estimates suggest that Tanhaji 17th day box office collection would be around Rs 13 crore. The total collection would be Rs 225+ crore. The third weekend collection of the film is more than Rs 25+ crore which is the fourth-highest ever after Bahubali 2, Dangal and PK. One thing is for sure, Tanhaji is now eyeing Rs 275 crore mark. Even Rs 300 crore looks a possibility now.
