Street Dancer 3D 2nd Day Box Office Collection: After a low opening day, Varun Dhawan’s dance film saw decent growth on Saturday (2nd day)
Varun Dhawan’s dance film ‘Street Dancer 3D’ saw decent growth in the collection on Saturday. The film tried to cover the ground lost on the first day. As per the reports coming, the film’s business saw a growth of around 30% on Saturday. Street Dancer 3D 2nd day box office collection is around Rs 13.5 crore. The two days total collection is around Rs 23.5 crore.
Despite decent growth on Saturday, the film’s performance at the box office is below-par. The expectations were huge. Streer Dancer 3D got off to a below-par opening at the box office. While the trade experts were expecting a Rs 15 crore opening, it collected only Rs 10.26 crore on day 1. Ideally, the film should have crossed Rs 30 crore mark in two days.
Now, the makers would be hoping for a turnaround on Sunday as it is a big National Holiday (Republic Day). Ideally, it should cross Rs 40 crore mark today to give itself some chance on weekdays. Street Dancer 3D is made in the budget of around Rs 100 crore. So, it needs to perform well at the box office to emerge a profitable venture for the producers.

First Day Collection: Rs 10.26 Crore
Second Day Collection: Rs 13 Crore (early estimates)
Street Dancer 3D is getting a tough competition from Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji. In Mumbai circuit, Tanhaji remains the first choice of the moviegoers. It collected Rs 9 crore on its 15th day. In Mumbai circuit, the 16th day collection of Tanhaji was more than the 2nd day collection of Street Dancer 3D. The trend it seems will continue in the coming days.
