SRK vs Salman Khan: The Epic Clash of 2016 may not happen anymore!

Salman Khan‘s Sultan and Shahrukh Khan‘s Raees are scheduled to release next year on Eid. This Shahrukh vs Salman war was speculated to be biggest clash of 2016!

According to a report of Pinkvilla, the much hyped clash of the Khans on Eid next year might be avoided. Rohit Shetty‘s Dilwale will be clashing with Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s Bajirao Mastani this year, and whether Raees will clash with Sultan depends on how the audience react to this year’s dummy clash. So, this Shahrukh vs Salman clash will depend on how Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale affect each other’s business when they release together on December 18.

A senior trade expert said “It all depends on how these films fare at the box office, and the situation might then change. Then, there is a possibility that Shah Rukh and Salman will sit together and mutually decide and one of them might shift the release date. When there are huge stars involved, it is they who take the call about most of the important decisions of their films, not the producers.”

It is quite evident that both Shahrukh and Salman are on good terms now, so sitting down and discussing won’t be a problem. For Shah Rukh, the opposite party is Yash Raj with whom he has always shared very good relations, so there is a chance of negotiation. However, this is not the case with Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale involving Bhansali and Eros. It is more of an ego clash!

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan had said, “There is no issue. Let them also release. It’s very simple, their distribution and production offices feel their film should release on Eid, while my distribution office feels that ours is designed for Eid. So, we both have decided to release the films on the same date but there’s no clash the way it’s being made out to be.”

And Salman Khan responded to it by saying, “I love Shah Rukh a lot and I don’t think he needs to worry at all, because the last time our movies came together, he had beaten me. So, even if Sultan and Raees are releasing on the same day, loss mera hi hoga.”

This definitely proves there is a scope that this clash may never happen!
