As mentioned above the next episode will be the penultimate episode of the fifth season. Since its premiere on Feb 23, Snowfall Season 5 is following a weekly release schedule. The first two episodes of the season were aired back to back on the premiere. Since then a new episode is airing weekly on Wednesday night.
Episode 9 titled Departureswill air on FX on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 10:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). It is directed by Karena Evans and written by Dave Andron.

We know that Jerome and Louie are going to separate themselves from Franklin in the upcoming episode titled Departures. The official synopsis reads:

Franklin is at that point in his life where there is no turning back. Even if he really wants to get out now, he may not be able to. He can’t reconcile with Louie. No matter what is coming up in this episode, we are assured that things will not be tied in just two episodes left in the season.
