Its close to a perfect weekend for Bollywood lovers as we have two good films from different genre releasing tomorrow. Its gonna be Shudh Desi Romance vs Zanjeer and everyone is curious to know which movie will fare well at Box office.
We here at Blog to Bollywood are also very excited about both these movies as its gonna be two Chopra sisters locking horns at Box office for the first time. We comes up with a Box office analysis of Zanjeer and Shuddh Desi Romance
Lets have a look at the elder sister Priyanka Chopra’s Zanjeer first
Zanjeer seems a hard hitting Bollywood action entertainer from very outset.It is expected to fare really well at single screens as its a action masala entertainer. Although it can’t be compared with the original one which was a cult classic but as depicted from the promos the movie has a fresh treatment as compared to other movies of the same class. With occupancy of around 50% , Zanjeer is expected to earn around 6 to 7 crores on first day.Total lifetime collection of Zanjeer would be around 45 to 50 crores with positive word of mouth.
Now lets have a look at Shuddh Desi Romance
I am eagerly waiting for this one ever since the first digital poster is released. There are lots of reasons behind this and the prime ones are the fresh star cast, Maneesh Sharma, refreshing subject, superb music and above all its next gen love story. Shuddh Desi Romance has already created a lot of buzz and Yash Raj Films should be complimented for that. Shuddh Desi Romance is expected to have a great start at Box office specially at Multiplexes. First day collections would be around 8 to 9 crores which is really good for new star cast movie. Lifetime collection would be around 60 to 65 crores with positive word of mouth which the movie is most likely to get.
