We will witness some great movie of varied genres starting with Mirzya on 7 Oct 2016 to Aamir Khan’s Dangal on 23 Dec 2016. We will also witness, the most awaited clash between Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on 28 October 2016. Let’s have a look at the most awaited Bollywood movies of the last quarter of 2016.

1. M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story
Release Date: September 30, 2016
Directed by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Fox Stars, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story is one movie which every Indian wants to see. Sushant Singh Rajput will portray the titular role of India’s most successful captain Dhoni. The trailer of the movie has created an enormous buzz and the movie is all set to become the widest Bollywood release of all time with 4500 screens in 60 countries.

2. Mirzya
Release date: October 7, 2016
Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and written by Gulzar, Mirzya features two debutantes Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher. The plotline is inspired by the folk tale of “the legend of Mirza – Sahiban” making Mirzya is an epic action-romance set in contemporary times. Shot in the rich terrain of Rajasthan, contrasted with flashes of the fantastical universe of the folklore set in the awe-inspiring landscape of Ladakh and Rajasthan, Mirzya Teaser Trailer gave us a short yet extraordinary glimpse of the movie.

3. Shivaay
Release date: October 28, 2016
Ajay Devgn gets into the seat of the director for his ambitious project titled as Shivaay. Shivaay is centred around the imperfections of Lord Shiva and how it makes him strong. The movie will introduce Dilip Kumar’s grand-niece Sayesha Saigal, Erika Kaar and popular British child actor Abigail Eames will be seen in the role of Ajay’s daughter.

4. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
Release date: October 28, 2016
Karan Johar is back on director’s seat with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya and Anushka Sharma, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a complicated love, friendship drama. The movie seems to have every element to be a perfect Karan Johar entertainer. The songs, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Bulleya have already made it to the top of the charts.

5. Rock On 2!
Release date: November 11, 2016
Directed by Shujaat Saudagar, Rock On 2 stars Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli who were also in the prequel. Other than that we will get to see Prachi Desai and Shraddha Kapoor too. Interestingly Shraddha will also sing all the songs in the movie!

6. Dear Zindagi
Release date: November 25, 2016
Shahrukh Khan and Alia Bhatt are well enough reasons to give Dear Zindagi a try in movie theatres. Moreover, Dear Zindagi is Gauri Shinde’s second movie after English Vinglish. As per the reports we have, SRK will portray a teacher in the movie while Ali will play his student.

7. Befikre
Release date: December 09, 2016
Aditya Chopra is back into direction with Befikre, starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles. The posters of the movie released so far are very interesting and in all of them we have seen Ranveer and Vaani kissing each other in the most carefree manner. We sure are excited about this one!

8. Dangal
Release date: December 23, 2016
Dangal is based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat played by Aamir Khan, who taught wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. Aamir Khan’s amazing transformation for the movie is one of the reasons to go and watch the movie. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is scheduled to release on 23 December 2016.
