ADHM has taken an early lead over Shivaay on Wednesday. With holiday period over now, the movie with better WOM and reviews will win this Box Office battle. On Wednesday, Shivaay opened to an occupancy of around 20% while Ae Dil Hai Mushkil remained strong with 25% occupancy in the morning shows. Let’s have a detailed look at the sixth-day occupancy and Box Office reports of Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil 6th Day Collection Report: Occupancy Report & Estimated Earnings
Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil remained strong on Wednesday. With holiday period over now, the movie witnessed expected drop in occupancy. The average occupancy on Wednesday was around 30% with evening and late night shows being the best. Delhi, NCR and East Punjab remained the best-performing circuits. Mass circuits and single screens remained low.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil managed to hold well on Wednesday and has easily passed the non-holiday test. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil earned 7.63 crores on Wednesday to take its total collection to 74.10 crores. ADHM has crossed 70 crores mark and is slowly and steadily closing to the safe zone (100 crores).
Shivaay 6th Day Collection Report: Occupancy Report & Estimated Collection
Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay remained strong on Wednesday. It registered an occupancy of around 25% in the morning and noon shows. The movie witnessed good growth in the evening shows with the occupancy in the range of 35% to 40%. Nights shows remained low as expected. Shivaay is performing well in mass circuits like CI, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
In terms of overall occupancy, Shivaay is competing with ADHM. Since there is a lot of difference in ticket prices between multiplexes and single screens, Shivaay is lagging behind in terms of numbers. As per the official numbers shared by Taran Adarsh, Shivaay earned 7.4 crores on Wednesday.
The movie now stands at the collection of 64.36 crores and it seems difficult for it to even recover its budget now. Shivaay will incur huge losses for Ajay Devgn.
