Box Office: Shivaay 19th Day Collection, Struggling To Enter The 100 Crore Club
Ajay Devgn In Shivaay

Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay had a good opening week with the collection of 70.41 crores. The movie registered the 8th highest opening week collection of 2016. The clash with ADHM seems to have affected Shivaay as it has been comfortably beaten by a good margin of 10 crores in the first week. After a decent opening week, Shivaay reported a drop in collections on the second Friday. Shivaay has started the second week on a lower note compared to Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Let’s have a look at the 8th day Box Office collection and occupancy report of Shivaay.

Shivaay 8th Day Collection: Second Friday Occupancy Report

The movie witnessed a drop in occupancy compared to Thursday. It opened to occupancy of around 12% in the morning shows. Shivaay witnessed decent growth in the noon and evening shows as the occupancy was around 25%. The nights shows remained low with the occupancy being in the range of 20% to 25%. The movie is performing well in mass circuits like CI, Rajasthan and Gujarat but the real issue remained is the poor performance in metros and multiplexes.

Shivaay  8th Day Collection: Second Friday Early Estimates and Way Ahead

As per the report shared by Taran Adarsh, Shivaay 8th day collection is 4.61 crores. The eight days collection of the movie stands at 75.02 crores. It has beaten the lifetime collection of Dishoom and Kapoor & Sons to become the 10th highest grossing movie of 2016.

Shivaay will remain stable at Box Office at least for this week as there is no big release. The movie should enter the 100 crore club by the end of the second week. It will be among the highest grossing Ajay Devgn movies.

Shivaay is a big budget film. Despite crossing 100 crores, it will be called a flop at the Box Office. Shivaay needs 115+ crores to be in a safe zone which at the moment is looking tough. (Shivaay Box Office Analysis)
