The Shaukeens shows small jump on Saturday as compared to collections made on first day (Friday). The movie collected around 7 crores on 2nd day at domestic Box Office. Starring Akshay Kumar, Lisa Haydon, Anupan Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra the movie was released on Friday on around 1900 screens.
The movie has created quite a good buzz before its release because of its foot tapping music, refreshing trailer and unique starcast. But, the buzz and hype doesn’t seems to be converted into Box Office numbers.
The occupancy in the morning shows was not good even though it was Saturday (Partial Holiday). The movie is driving on the shoulders of Akshay Kumar who is playing himself in the movie. The response has been average in multiplexes as well as mass centers. The occupancy reports have not been good even in the evening and night shows. The Shaukeens was expected to do well at Box Office but the movie hasn’t performed well on first two days.
The reviews hasn’t been too good either. Some critics loved the movie complimenting it as breezy and refreshing entertainer while the others have thrashed it.

The movie is expected to show good number on Sunday as it is a last day of a weekend. Akshay Kumar performance has been appreciated and his fans must be keeping an eye on it.
