Shahrukh Khan’s next: After Zero, the actor has not signed any film. His fans have been eagerly waiting for an announcement about his next film.
Shahrukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero‘ starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. Released in Dec 2018, the film was a box office failure. Post Zero, the actor took time off to be with his family and read scripts for over a year. The superstar has not signed any film. His fans have been eagerly waiting for an announcement about his next project.
Shahrukh hosted an #AskSRK session on Twitter yesterday with his fans. As expected the question about his upcoming projects came in. SRK was asked about his future projects and plan, to which the superstar answered, “Don’t tire yourself. It’s obvious I will do some films…it’s obvious they will be made..and it’s obvious you all will know.”
During this #AskSRK interaction, the King Khan also hinted at collaborating with director Rajkumar Hirani. A fan asked SRK if he would like to work with Hollywood directors Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan, the actor replied saying, “Wow both are awesome and I have met them…but Raju apna sa lagta hai…nahi?”. Fans have already started making ideas considering this as a hint.

There have been several rumours that SRK might collaborate with Rajkumar Hirani however nothing has been confirmed yet. In the last 12 months, the actor has met several directors for different projects that haven’t been confirmed.
Rajkumar Hirani is keen to work with STK for a long time. You may not know but SRK was Hirani’s first choice for Munnabhai and 3 Idiots. In an interview, Hirani stated, “For a long time, we have been waiting to work with him. Every time we meet, we talk about working together. At the moment, there is nothing. But, hopefully, I would write a script.”
Shahrukh Khan’s next is Ayan Mukherjee’s Brahmastra. The actor has a special appearance in the film which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy.
