Shahrukh Khan is quite disappointed with Box Office performance of his latest release. Dilwale released on 18 Dec 2015 along with Bajirao Mastani.

There is no denying the fact that SRK’s Dilwale hasn’t performed as per expectations. Released amidst the huge expectation along with Ranveer Singh’s Bajirao Mastani, Dilwale marked the comeback of iconic Bollywood Jodi of SRK-Kajol.

Shahrukh Khan isn’t happy with the performance of the movie on Indian Box Office. The actor accepted that the movie hasn’t performed as per expectations. Bollywood’s superstar was at an event in Kolkata yesterday and when asked about Dilwale,

SRK said,”I don’t think the film has done as well as it should have. I am personally disappointed with that”.

The actor was, however, thrilled because of Dilwale’s performance in overseas and said,

“To be honest, it has perhaps not done as well in India as I would like it to do. But overseas it has done very well in a lot of countries like Germany, Austria. It is quite thrilling that Indian films are reaching far and wide. There is a lot of business opportunities.”.

Dilwale was one of the most anticipated releases of 2015. The movie was severely affected by its clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani which was released on the same day. Despite its average performance in India, the movie is one of the biggest blockbusters in overseas with the collection of 150+ crores.
