Sex Education Season 3: The adventures of High School amateur sexologist Otis, Maeve, and Eric are about to begin.

Fans of the Netflix series Sex Education can celebrate as the filming for season three has finished. It means that we are a step closer to see the next set of episodes of our favourite show.

Sharing this exciting news, a crew member posted a pic from the set with the Moordale Secondary School symbol clearly visible. The caption read: “That’s a wrap. Thank you Sex Education Season 3 and everyone involved for that epic eight month adventure in love, laughter, and TV magic.”

Season 3 of Sex Education has been filming safely in a bio-bubble in Wales since September last year. The cast and crew isolated before production commenced. Now that the filming has finished, the team will push hard on editing the show. They will follow it up with dubbing and other post-production activities.

Netflix renewed the show for a third season in Feb 2020, a month after the second season premiered. Filming for the third season was commence in March 2020. However, like other TV shows, web series, and movies, the third season of Sex Education suffered a delay in filming due to lockdown.

On 9th September 2020, Netflix announced that the Sex Education season 3 is now officially in production.

Sex Education Season 3 probable release date

Based on the release date of two seasons, we were expecting the third season to arrive in January 2021. The production got delayed by around 5-6 months due to COVID-19. Now that the filming has finished, and assuming that post-production requires around 3-4 months, expect season three to arrive in July or Aug 2021.
