The action anime is based on the Seven Knights smartphone role-playing game by Netmarble.

The team behind the popular role-playing smartphone game “Seven Knights Revolution” is coming up with its anime adaptation. Titled “Seven Knights Revolution: Successor of Heroes”, the anime is currently in production and will be broadcast in Japan in April 2021. The announcement was made through a tweet. The anime is directed by Kazuya Ichikawa under the production of two studios, LINDENFILMS and domerica. Ukyo Kodachi is writing the screenplay while Arisa Matséra hs worked as character designer.

“Seven Knights Revolution: Successor of Heroes” anime is based on the role-playing smartphone game of the same name developed by Netmarble.

Seven Knights Revolution Anime Plot

The story of Seven Knights Revolution: Successor of Heroes’ is set in a world where ages ago great heroes fought against the forces of “Destruction”. The power of these heroes was later inherited by “successors” who fight to protect the world. One day, Faria, a successor of the Seven Knights, saves an ordinary boy named Nemo from the forces of Destruction.

During the arising battle, Nemo recalls the power of a hero and becomes a successor as well. However, Nemo’s hero is a stranger that is unknown to history, and so an epic journey where the past and present collide begins.


Two lead characters of the anime adaptation have been announced. They are:

1) Nemo (voiced by Daiki Yamashita)
