Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai

Superstar Salman Khan’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is scheduled to release on May 22, 2020.

This is some bad news for all Salman Khan fans who are waiting for his next release. Salman’s next ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ which was supposed to release on 22 May 2020 is most likely to be delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A source close to the production team reported PTI, “Radhe will be pushed ahead for sure. We have got two songs to shoot, there is some patchwork left of about five days or so, we also have editing that is left. We don’t know when the situation will be normal and when we can shoot and finish our pending work.”

In the last 12 years, it will be the second time that Salman fans will not see their favourite star’s film on Eid. Wanted (2009), Dabangg (2010), Bodyguard (2011), Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Kick (2014), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Sultan (2016), Tubelight (2017), Race 3 (2018) and Bharat (2019) have released on the festive occasion. In 2013, Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express was released on Eid.

Radhe is directed by Prabhu Deva. It marks the third collaboration between Salman and the director after Wanted and Dabangg 3. Disha Patani will be shared opposite Salman in the film which is touted to a spinoff of Wanted (2009). The shooting of the film started in November last year. The film was on schedule, however, due to lockdown followed by corona outbreak all TV and film production work is on halt. The last schedule of the film didn’t complete.

Not only Radhe, the release date of many big films, have to be re-scheduled now. Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh’s 83 have been postponed indefinitely. Varun Dhawan’s Coolie no. 1 has also been pushed.

Well, the fans are hopeful that this difficult time will pass as well. Once again, there would be long queues outside the movie theatres.
