Salman Khan's Bharat Enters 200 Crore Club, Becomes His 6th Film To Achieve This Feat

Salman Khan’s Bharat has finally entered 200 crore club. It took 14 days for the film to achieve this feat.

Released with Salman Khan’s Eid release Bharat has finally made it to the 200 crore club of Bollywood. The film has certainly underperformed at the box office considering Salman Khan’s standards. Trade expert Taran Adarsh shared the box office report of the film on his Twitter account:

Bharat is Salman’s sixth 200 crore grosser after Kick, PRDP, Sultan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Bharat took 14 days to achieve this feat. It is Salman’s slowest 200 crore grosser along with Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Salman Khan’s film has slowed down considerably in the second week. It earned 180+ crores in the extended first week. In the second week, it has so far earned 21.81 crores on 5 days.

With not much hope left, Bharat is expected to wrap its box office journey with the lifetime collection of around 215 crores.

Bharat is Ali Abbas Zafar’s third film with Salman Khan after Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Both movies earned 300+ crores in India and the same was expected from Bharat. Despite a record-breaking opening, Bharat failed to maintain the momentum and struggled at the box office.

Produced by T-Series and Salman Khan Films, Bharat is an official adaptation of  Korean film ‘Ode To My Father‘. It also stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover.
