Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and Shahrukh Khan among the top taxpayers in India

Bollywood’s biggest superstars, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ranbir Kapoor has made it to the list of highest taxpayers in the country.

According to the tax data accessed by the Indian Express, superstar Salman Khan tops the list of the highest taxpayers in Bollywood. Salman Khan, who is busy these days with the shooting of his upcoming movie Sultan, has paid a healthy amount of 20 crores as an advance tax to the income tax department. Salman Khan is followed by the Khiladi of Bollywood, who has given around 16 crores so far.

Salman Khan’s had a terrific last year with both his releases, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan‘ and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo‘ collectively grossed 1000 crores worldwide. Ranbir Kapoor movies may be struggling at the Box Office but as per the income tax data, the actor has already paid 15 crores as an advance tax to the income tax department. Ranbir Kapoor is followed by Shahrukh Khan (14 crores) and megastar Amitabh Bachchan (8.75 crores).
