Sakshi Tanwar who is more famous as either Pavitri or Priya in Indian households is all set for a big Bollywood break. Yes, if reports are too be believed, Sakshi has begged the role of Aamir Khan’s wife in Dangal.
Several actresses including the sex siren Maliika Sherawat were auditioned and finally its the famous television bahu who gets lucky with probably the biggest role of her life.
Dangal is a sports biopic in which Aamir plays real life wrestler Mahavir Phogat, father of celebrated female wrestlers Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal stars Aamir Khan as Mahavir Phogat, Fatima Shhaikh and Zaira Wasim as Geeta Kumari, Sanya Malhotra and Suhani Bhatnagar as Babita Phogat, Rajkummar Rao and Vikram Singh. The movie is slated for release on 23 Dec 2016.
