Sachin: A Billion Dreams had a decent first week at the domestic box office with the collection of around 42 crores from all versions.

The movie started its box office journey on a high. It earned 28 crores in the first weekend and then witnessed a considerable drop on Monday. It remained steady on weekdays to end the first week on a respectable note. In the first week, the movie exceeded expectations as trade analysts were expecting it to have an average opening.

Sachin Tendulkar’s magic worked for the movie in the first weekend as his fans came in big numbers. The movie earned 28.05 crores in the first weekend. After a superb opening weekend, the movie witnessed considerable drop on Monday and since then it has been sustaining on the lower level.   • First Week total: 41.8 crores

Sachin: A Billion Dreams first week collection

With the collection of 41.8 crores, Sachin A Billion Dreams is now the 8th highest grosser of 2017. It has beaten the lifetime collection of movies like Rangoon, Naam Shabana, Ok Jaanu etc.

The movie is expected to wrap up its box office journey with the lifetime collection of around 50 crores. These are decent numbers considering that the movie is not a regular Bollywood affair.
