Rustom is a very special film, said Akshay Kumar in an interview to a leading daily. The trailer of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie, Rustom, was released on 30 Jun 2016 and received a superb response.
The trailer of Rustom crossed 3 million views in 24 hours, which is a clear indication that moviegoers are excited to see Akshay Kumar in a never seen before avatar.
In an interview to a leading daily, when Akshay was asked about the response Rustom trailer is getting, he said, “Honestly, I’m overwhelmed. I knew we were doing something right and special when we were shooting Rustom, but ultimately it is the reaction of the trade and the public which matters the most. I’m happy that people have loved the trailer.”
Rustom will be Akshay Kumar’s third release of the year after ‘Airlift’ and ‘Housefull 3’. Both ‘Airlift’ and ‘Housefull 3’ crossed 100 crores at the Box Office. Going by the response, Rustom trailer is getting, we are quite assured that Akshay will make a hat-trick of 100 crores grossers.
Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, Rustom also stars Ileana D’Cruz, Esha Gupta and Arjan Bajwa. The movie is slated to release on 12 Aug 2016 along with Hrithik Roshan’s Mahenjo Daro.
