Akshay Kumar’s has Rustom refused to slow down even after three successful weeks at the domestic Box Office. The movie is still holding well on the lower levels, collection around 7.5 crores in its third week. Akshay Kumar starrer has till now earned over 124.5 crores.
With no big releases this week except Akira (1200 screens), the exhibitors are showing good confidence as the movie will be screened on over 500 screens in the fourth week. Rustom has one more week to cross the lifetime collection of Airlift (128.5 crores). As Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra’s Baar Baar Dekho is releasing, the movie will find it difficult to get screens from the next week.

Mudassar Aziz’s Happy Bhag Jayegi had a decent second week. The movie is benefitted by the fact that new release, ‘A Flying Jatt’ fall flat on weekdays. As per the trade estimates, it earned over 6.3 crores in the second week. The movie till now has earned over 24 crores, thus emerged as one of the surprise hits of the year. The movie has received appreciation from the audience and critics. Happy with the success of the movies, the makers are planning a sequel of the cross-border comic entertainer.
