SS Rajamouli’s most-awaited action drama RRR debuted in theatres on March 24, 2022. The keenly awaited period drama was released worldwide on more than 10000 screens. The movie opened to a phenomenal response across the globe. It went on to become one of the highest-grossing movies of Indian Indian cinema with a collection of Rs 1100+ Crore.

Now, almost two months after its theatrical release, SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus is set to debut on OTT. The fans are super excited for the digital release as they will get to witness Rajamouli’s magic from the comfort of their home. RRR Digital Steaming Rights 

The streaming giant Netflix has acquired the digital streaming rights of RRR for Hindi, English, Portuguese, Korean, Turkish, and Spanish languages.

ZEE5 has acquired the digital streaming rights of RRR for Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Apart from the digital rights for these languages, the company has also acquired satellite rights for the Hindi language. According to reports, the Zee group has acquired the digital and satellite rights of RRR for a whopping Rs 300 crore.

RRR OTT Release Date and Time

RRR will make its OTT debut on ZEE5 Premium on May 20, 2022. It will release on ZEE5 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Here’s an official tweet from Zee5’s Twitter account confirming the same.

Now, coming to the digital release of Hindi, English and foreign languages versions, Netflix has recently announced the date. RRR will make its digital debut on Netflix on May 20. 2022.

RRR Satellite rights and TV Premiere details

While Zee Network holds the satellite rights of the Hindi version of RRR, the Star India network owns the television rights of its Telugu Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions. There is no information on when RRR debuts on TV. But looking at the release pattern these days, one can expect it to make its world TV premiere in July or August.
