RRR 2nd day box office collection: SS Rajamouli’s RRR continues its glorious run after a historic opening.

After smashing almost all box office records on its opening day, SS Rajamouli’s RRR performed exceptionally well on Saturday. Ram Charan and Jnr NTR starrer collected Rs 126 Crore (Nett) in India on its opening day. Now as per the reports coming, RRR earned around Rs 90 Crore (Nett) on Saturday. These are tremendous numbers considering that the opening day numbers were above expectations. Moreover, Telugu movies generally witness a huge drop after a good opening but RRR has managed to hold well. Here’s a look at RRR second day box office numbers in different states:

RRR second day collection in AP/TG

In the home state AP/TG, SS Rajamouli’s action entertainer recorded an unbelievable opening. It grossed Rs 102+ Crore in AP/TG on its opening day.

On Saturday, the movie witnessed a drop as expected but the numbers are still very good. As per early estimates, RRR’s second day AP/TG Share is around Rs 32 Crore. It is almost equal to Rs 60 Crore (Gross).

RRR 2nd day box office collection (Hindi)

In Hindi belts, RRR collected Rs 20 Crore (Nett) on its opening day. As expected, it witnessed good growth in numbers on Saturday owing to rave reviews. Early reports suggest that RRR second day collection in Hindi belts is around Rs 24 Crore (nett) or Rs 28.5 crore (Gross).

RRR second day box office collection in other states

In other states, RRR witnessed an expected drop after an earth-shattering opening. The combined second-day collection in Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu is around Rs 20 Crore (Gross).

SS Rajamouli’s RRR stars Jnr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. It also features Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Shriya Saran and Alison Doody.

It is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively.
