RRR 1st day box office collection: SS Rajamouli’s RRR is off to a historic opening, becomes the top opening day grosser of all time.
Carrying a tremendous amount of buzz, SS Rajamouli’s RRR finally makes it to theatres on March 25, and as expected it has set the box office on fire. As per the reports coming, the movie has opened on a historic note, creating first day records in many states. In fact, it has beaten the opening day numbers of Baahubali 2 (Rs 121 Cr Nett). RRR 1st day box office collection for all languages is more than Rs 125 Cr (Nett) in India.
In the home state AP/TG, SS Rajamouli’s action entertainer is off to an unbelievable opening. RRR has grossed Rs 102+ Crore in AP/TG. These are insane numbers. Baahubali 2 grossed only Rs 58 Crore on its opening day.
In Hindi belts, RRR is off to a better opening than expected. Ram Charan and Jnr NTR starrer earned around Rs 25 Crore in Hindi belts. This is a solid start for a Telugu movie in northern regions.
