Rocketry. Rashtra Kawach OM and more Hindi Movies Releasing On July 1 [OTT & Theatrical Releases]
Aditya Roy Kapur's Rashtra Kawach OM is releasing on July 1

After an action-packed June, we will once again see loads of movies on OTT platforms and big screens. On the very first day of July, several Hindi movies are scheduled to release in theatres. Besides this, the two biggest Bollywood disasters of the year are going to make their OTT debut. Here’s a look at Hindi movies releasing on July 1, 2022.

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect

Directed by R. Madhavan, this biographical drama movie is based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of ISRO. R. Madhavan plays a titular role in the movie which showcases Narayanan’s days as a graduate student at Princeton University, before exploring his work as a scientist and the false spying charges placed upon him.

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect stars R. Madhavan, Rajit Kapur, Simran, Misha Ghoshal, Mohan Raman, Gulshan Grover, and Jagan among others. Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya have a special guest appearance in the Hindi and Tamil versions respectively.

Rashtra Kavach Om

Directed by Kapil Verma, Rashtra Kavach OM is an action-thriller, starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjana Sanghi, Jackie Shroff, and Ashutosh Rana.

The movie is going to have some high-octane action sequences. It focuses on a Para commando officer, who’s on a mission to save his country.

Samrat Prithviraj

One of the biggest box office disasters of the year, Akshay Kumar’s Samrat Prithviraj is making its OTT debut earlier than we have expected. Released in theatres on June 3, 2022, Samrat Prithviraj will make its OTT debut on Amazon Prime Video on July 1, 2022.

The historic drama stars Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chhillar, Sonu Sood, Sanjay Dutt, and Ashutosh Rana in lead roles.

Dhaakad

Kangana Ranaut’s action-thriller Dhaakad was a total washout at the box office. Released on May 20, the high octane actioner failed to collect even Rs 5 Crore at the box office. After a massive box office failure, there were no takers for its streaming rights. Finally, Zee5 acquired the streaming rights as the movie was distributed by Zee Studios.

The movie stars Kangana Ranaut alongside Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta with Saswata Chatterjee in a supporting role. It will be available to stream on Zee5 from July 1, 2022.
