SRK’s collaboration with popular American DJ Diplo for a song titled as ‘Phurr’ in the upcoming romantic flick ‘Jab Harry met Sejal’ has made everyone superexcited. But, it was Grammy winner Diplo, who persuaded Shah Rukh to feature in the music video.
Recently, the actor was at sunny vistas of Los Angeles for shooting the promotional video of ‘Phurrr’. Talking about the shoot, the actor said, “Diplo had a show in Miami, but he postponed it and flew down to Los Angeles instead.”
The superstar also disclosed the fact that he wasn’t supposed to be a part of the music video but Diplo convinced him to shoot. “I went on the sets to get together with him. But, he insisted on me being a part of the music video, and I had to oblige. He demonstrated me some swag moves, and a moment ago I copied him.”
Ofcourse, Shah Rukh Khan and Diplo share a great bond, bearing in mind the time Diplo visited India for a concert and flew down to Goa to meet SRK on the sets of ‘Dear Zindagi.’
Shah Rukh gave additional insights into their bond saying, “Diplo has spent a plenty of time in Kolkata, he loves India and our traditions. He was sugary enough to give me a jacket of his record label, Mad Decent.”
Also, Diplo’s kids are big fans of Shah Rukh and were pleased to meet him. However, Shah Rukh was surprised to admit this. The actor said, “I was surprised that his sons knew me. Unfortunately, my kids couldn’t come as it was an early dawn shoot.”
First ‘Radha’ and ‘Beech Beech Mein’, followed by ‘Safar’, ‘Butterfly’ and ‘Hawayein’, every song from Jab Harry Met Sejal’s jukebox has been topping the charts and are being playing over loop in our playlists all the time. The mini trails and the trailer have garnered a positive response like never before. Earlier, Shah Rukh collaborated with Akon for Ra.One’s song ‘Chammak Challo’ and rest is history. The upcoming song ‘Phurrr’ is just bound to enlarge the anticipation. The makers might release the upcoming track on July 31.
