Jagga Jasoos is Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif‘s next flick together. Directed by Anurag Basu, it tells the story of a teenage detective in search of his missing father.
During the promotions of Tamasha, Ranbir was asked about Jagga Jasoos. He said, “It is a completely new genre in terms of Indian Films. It is in lines of Hollywood adventure films like Indiana Jones.”
“Jagga Jasoos is a really exciting film as it marks my comeback with Anurag Basu after Barfi. It is about a detective in high school who stammers and wants to find his step father. Because he stammers, he sings when he wants to speak because when you sing, you don’t stammer. It is on the lines of adventure films like Indiana Jones. It is something which would be really exciting to watch on screen. It is a new genre.”
The movie. Jagga Jasoos also stars Govinda and slated to release on 3rd June 2016.
