Have a look at the theatrical trailer of upcoming romantic musical Rajjo which is directed by Sahitya Akademi Award winning writer Vishwas Patil. Rajjo is produced by Four Pillars Entertainment and stars Kangana Ranaut and Paras Arora (television actor who played the character of Shivaji in Veer Shivaji on Colors channel) in the lead roles and its supporting cast includes Prakash Raj, Mahesh Manjrekar and Jaya Prada.
Kangana in and as Rajjo is a nautch girl in Mumbai. Paras Arora is the male lead and love interest of Rajjo. Mahesh Manjrekar will be seen as Begum the owner of Kothas and Prakash Raj will be our bad man, a wicked corporator with political connections.
Rajjo is basically a love story of a muslim girl Rajjo and a Brahmin boy Chandu which is set on the backdrop of the dying kothas in Mumbai where redevelopment will take place which marks a question on the fate of the dancers and singers of the kothas as it has been their traditional art for centuries.
The movie is slated for November 15 release and will compete with Raam-Leela.
