The First Rough Edit of Shah Rukh Khan upcoming film Raees was done and Raees runs for 3.5 hours approximately.
Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees is a crime thriller based on the life of a Gujrati Don played by Shah Rukh Khan. SRK will be seen in never seen before avatar in the crime thriller. The movie also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mahira Khan and Farhan Akhtar in pivotal roles. During the First Rough Edit, Raees runs for 3.5 hours.
According to a source of SpotBoye, Raees has turned out to be kickass with spectacular performances by Shah Rukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. Two romantic song sequences have been picturized on Shah Rukh Khan and lead actress Mahira Khan, which propel the plot further.
Talking about the run time, the source further revealed that a three-and-a-half-hour first edit is not unusual, but the film is more than likely to be trimmed down to two-and-a-half hours. There are chances that there will be Shah Rukh’s creative involvement in the final product alongside Dholakia and co-producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
