Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees has emerged as a clean hit at the domestic Box Office despite its clash with Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil. A lot has been said about the clash between the two movies but it seems that Raees has taken a big lead which Kaabil may not be able to bridge in coming days. Though Kaabil had shown superb numbers in the last couple of days, the lead taken by Raees in the first week is now proving too big to beat.
Talking about the collection of Raees, the movie witnessed decent growth and earned around 25 crores in the second week. The producers of the movie have not shared the 11th and 12th day collection. With the total collection of 147.46 crores, Raees is currently the 4th highest grosser for Shah Rukh Khan. It has beaten the lifetime collection of Ra.One, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Don 2, FAN and Om Shanti Om. It will beat the lifetime collection of Dilwale today to take the 3rd position in the list.
Made in a budget of 95 crores, Raees has become the first hit of 2017 as it has crossed the required 140 crores number. The movie has performed exceptionally well despite its clash with Kaabil.
