Prabhas’ starrer has taken a solid opening in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. As per early reports, the movie collected around Rs 28 Crore (Nett) in Telugu. The opening is in the same range as recent Telugu movies like Bheemla Nayak, Vakeel Saab and Pushpa: The Rise.

Prabhas fans were expecting Radhe Shyam to recreate history. They were expecting the movie to set the box office on fire. However, it failed to make much impact on its opening day in the Hindi market.
As per early reports, Radhe Shyam collected around Rs 5 Crore in Hindi. These are disappointing considering the scale of the movie and Prabhas’ stardom after the success of Baahubali.
Though Baahubali is in a league of its own, the opening day numbers of Radhe Shyam are way too low. Prabhas’ last release Saaho collected Rs 25 Crore on its opening day in Hindi belts.
The reviews haven’t been great either and it seems that Radhe Shyam is only going to struggle at the box office in the coming days.
