Radhe Shyam opened pretty well in Telugu states as it is Prabhas’ home market but in Hindi belts the opening day numbers are disappointing.
- Radhe Shyam is off to a good start at Andhra and Telangana box office.
- In Hindi belts, the movie managed to collect only Rs 4.5 Crore on its opening day.
As expected Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam is off to a good start at Andhra and Telangana box office. However, in Hindi belts, the movie has reported a poor opening which is quite surprising considering Prabhas’ stardom. Here’s a detailed look at Radhe Shyam’s first day box office collection report.
Radhe Shyam 1st day collection in Andhra & Telangana
Prabhas’ starrer has taken a solid opening in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. As per early reports, the movie collected around Rs 28 Crore (Nett) in Telugu. The opening is in the same range as recent Telugu movies like Bheemla Nayak, Vakeel Saab and Pushpa: The Rise.
- Day 1 Nett (Telugu): Rs 28 Crore (approx)
- Day 1 Gross (Telugu): Rs 37.85 Crore
- Distributor Share: Rs 25.5 Crore
Radhe Shyam 1st day collection in Hindi
Prabhas fans were expecting Radhe Shyam to recreate history. They were expecting the movie to set the box office on fire. However, it failed to make much impact on its opening day in the Hindi market.
As per early reports, Radhe Shyam collected around Rs 5 Crore in Hindi. These are disappointing considering the scale of the movie and Prabhas’ stardom after the success of Baahubali.
Though Baahubali is in a league of its own, the opening day numbers of Radhe Shyam are way too low. Prabhas’ last release Saaho collected Rs 25 Crore on its opening day in Hindi belts.
The reviews haven’t been great either and it seems that Radhe Shyam is only going to struggle at the box office in the coming days.
