Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai

Radhe Digital Release: Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ was scheduled to release on Eid 2020, but due to the pandemic, the film will reportedly release on an OTT platform.

Corona Pandemic has severely affected the entertainment industry. Daily-wage workers related to the industry are finding it difficult to make their ends meet. Even small actors are struggling in these tough times. Amid the lockdown, Bollywood and TV industry is at a halt. The release of several films has been postponed, shoots have been stalled. Due to this reason, some production houses are considering releasing their films directly on digital platforms.

There were reports that Akshay Kumar’s ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ will directly release on OTT platform. Now, the same reports are coming for Salman Khan‘s most awaited film ‘Radhe: Yur Most Wanted Bhai.’ The film was scheduled to release on Eid 2020, but due to the pandemic, the film will reportedly release on an OTT platform. Reports suggest that the makers of Radhe have demanded a whopping Rs 250 crore for the digital rights of the film.

However, this is not actual truth as per Salman Khan’s business manager Jordy Parel. He admitted that the team of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is considering for an OTT release. Jordy Patel said that he had not given any figure.

Jordy added that the shoot is yet not complete. Few songs and scenes are yet to be shot. On being asked if the makers would want to release the film when the theatres re-open, he said that it seems unlikely that the audience would feel safe to watch the films in theatres for next 3-4 months. He said that the team will see what the situation is and then take a call accordingly.

Radhe is directed by Prabhu Deva. It marks the third collaboration between Salman and the director after Wanted and Dabangg 3. Disha Patani will be shared opposite Salman in the film which is touted to a spinoff of Wanted (2009).
