One of the most awaited Telugu movies of 2021 Pushpa stars Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.
Here is big news for all Allu Arjun fans out there. The Telugu superstar has revealed the release date of his upcoming movie, Pushpa. The action-thriller will hit the big screens on Aug 13, 2021.
“#PUSHPA loading in theatres from 13th August 2021. Excited to meet you all in cinemas this year. Hoping to create the same magic one more time with dearest @aryasukku & @ThisIsDSP (sic),” wrote Allu Arjun on his Twitter page.
Along with the release date, Allu has also revealed the poster. In the captivating poster, the ‘Stylish Star’ is seen in a crude and rough avatar as a woodcutter. The poster reminds you of Kannada blockbuster KGF.

Pushpa is Allu Arjun and director Sukumar’s third collaboration after blockbusters Arya (2004) and Arya 2 (2009). It was Arya which established Allu Arjun as one of the top stars in Telugu film industry.
Coming to Pushpa, the movie was initially offered to superstar Mahesh Babu. However, due to creative differences, Babu walked out of the film by signing his next Sarileru Neekevvaru. Later, Arjun came on board as a lead actor.
Allu Arjun is playing a titular role in the movie which is about sandalwood heist in the hills of Andhra. Director Sukumar describes the movie as, “The red sanders heist in the hills of Andhra is a convoluted nexus that unfurls in the course of the narrative through a coolie-turned-smuggle.”
Pushpa also stars Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil and Dhananjay. Nation’s new crush Rashmika Mandanna will be sharing the screen space with Allu Arjun for the first time.
