Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise refuses to end its theatrical run, Hindi version crosses Rs 100 crore mark.

Despite its digital premiere available on Amazon Prime Video, the Hindi version of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise is still making money at the box office. It’s a one-horse race at the box office and Allu Arjun’s action-entertainer is taking full advantage of it. The Hindi version of Pushpa: The Rise is all set to enter Bollywood’s elite Rs 100 crore club.

Even though the distributors are not releasing numbers on daily basis, it is known that the movie earned Rs 7.06 crore and Rs 6.42 crore in its 5th and 6th-week respectively. As per Bollywood Hungama, the total collection of Pushpa (Hindi) after six weeks was Rs 98.23 crore.

In its seventh week, Allu Arjun starrer collected around Rs 2.25 crore till Sunday to breach past Rs 100 crore mark. This is an impeccable feat considering that Pushpa faced stiff competition from Spider-Man: No Way Home and 83. It was released with almost zero promotions in the Hindi market.

Pushpa joins the list of south Indian movies whose Hindi dubbed version collected Rs 100+ crore in India. The list includes Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs 511.30 crore), 2.0 (Rs 188 crore) and Baahubali: The Beginning (Rs 120 crore). We are not including Saaho in the list. It wasn’t a South movie but was made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.

After the grand success of Pushpa: The Rise, all eyes are now on its sequel Pushpa: The Rule. It will go on floors in April 2022 and is planned to release in 2023. Trade experts are expecting it to create havoc at the box office.
