Producer and director Sajid Nadiadwala opens up about Kick 2 and Judwaa 2 in a recent interview.

During a recent interview with a website, Sajid Nadiadwala, owner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, talked about his upcoming projects. Sajid Nadiadwala opens up about Kick 2 and Judwaa 2.

Here’s what Sajid has to say about Judwaa 2–

“We have scripted almost 70 % of the film. We should be ready by Diwali and the film will go on floors by early next year. Like Judwaa, even this one will have two heroines, but right now it is too early to talk about the star-cast. It would be very interesting to have Salman Khan on board for a cameo in Judwaa 2. We are currently working on the script and we would take a call once the script is locked. In my opinion, cameos are only good when they are as impactful as Akshay Kumar’s in Dishoom. Without that, they make no sense to me.”

He also talked candidly about the sequel of his directional debut Kick–

“I have started writing Kick 2. It will go on floors only when I am satisfied with the script. The kind of films Salman Khan is doing these days, it would be a task for me to compete with them. Have a look at the kind of appreciation Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan got. There is a lot of expectation from Kick 2 and more than that, Salman and I have almost 100 % track record at the Box-Office. As a director, I was a bit apprehensive about Kick but when it scored well at the Box-Office, I feel it is my duty to deliver above the audience expectation. They accepted me as a big debut director and now it is my duty to write something that is very brilliant.”

His statement has definitely made us more excited for both movies!
