Mounted on a budget of Rs 250+ Crore, the lifetime collection of the movie in India is Rs 67.8 Crore. Samrat Prithviraj OTT Platform and Digital Rights
In 2021, the streaming giant Amazon Prime Video acquired the streaming rights of four YRF movies, Bunty Aur Babli 2, Prithviraj, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, and Shamshera.
YRF has an open-ended contract with Amazon Prime Video with prices locked for 4 weeks and 8 weeks. As per the contract, the production house will opt for a 4-week to 8-week release based on the film’s performance at the box office.
Bunty Aur Babli 2 and Jayeshbhai Jordaar made their OTT debut on Amazon Prime after 28 days of their release in theatres.
Samrat Prithviraj OTT Release Date on Prime Video
Released on June 3, 2022, the Akshay Kumar starrer tanked at the box office. The audience has completely rejected it (at least in theatres). So, the production company YRF has decided to opt for an early OTT release for Samrat Prithviraj.
