Radhe Shyam OTT Rights: Amazon Prime Video has offered an astounding Rs 350 crore offer to Radhe Shyam producers for direct digital release.

Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer romantic saga ‘Radhe Shyam’ is one of the most anticipated movies of 2022. Scheduled to release worldwide on Jan 14, 2022, Prabhas starrer may get postponed as COVID cases are rising rapidly. In a span of a few days, two big releases, Jersey and RRR have pulled out. Though there is no official announcement, insiders believe that Radhe Shyam producers and distributors have already made the decision.

RRR OTT Release and Platform

Amidst all this, reports are rife that Radhe Shyam producers have received a tempting offer from a streaming giant for the direct OTT release. As per the reports, Amazon Prime Video has offered an amazing Rs 350 crore to the producers of Radhe Shyam to release the movie directly on the platform. Reportedly, Netflix had also made an offer of Rs 300 crore to Radhe Shyam OTT rights.

However, the producers have not accepted any of these offers as they are kin to release the movie in theatres first. They feel that movies are Radhe Shyam deserve a theatrical experience.

Talking about Prabhas, his popularity has only grown exponentially post the release of Baahubali. He is a popular pan-India star with a huge fan-following. In fact, he is probably the highest-paid actor in the country at this time.

Talking about Radhe Shyam, the period romantic drama is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages. It also stars Bhagyashree, Sathyaraj, Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedkar, Priyadarshi, Murali Sharma and Kunaal Roy Kapur. The movie is produced by UV Creations, Gopi Krishna Movies and T-Series.
