Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar stars Prabhas and Shruti Haasan in lead roles.
Following the success of the Baahubali series, releasing the movie in two parts is slowly becoming a trend especially for South Indian filmmakers. After the grand success of Baabubali, director Prashanth Neel followed the same route and decided to release his period drama action movie KGF in two parts. KGF Chapter 1 was a huge hit worldwide. The second part KGF Chapter 2 will debut in theatres on Apr 14, 2022.
Not only these two movies, but director Sukumar also followed the same part to tell the story of Pushpa. The first part Pushpa: The Rise released on Nov 17, 2021, has become a huge hit especially in Hindi belts. The second part Pushpa: The Rule will release in 2023.
After KGF, the director Prashanth Neel will follow the same pattern for his next biggie titled Salaar. Prabhas’s upcoming action thriller movie “Salaar” will be released in two parts. The first part is expected to release this year or early next year.
Shot simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu languages, Salaar will be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. The action-thriller also stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu and Easwari Rao.
Before Salaar, Prabhas has two biggies, Radhe Shyam and Adipurush scheduled to release in 2022.
