Phillauri Trailer is finally out and this one is a total family entertainer with Anushka Sharma, Suraj Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles.
Anushka Sharma is here with her second production venture titled as Phillauri. Phillauri trailer looks quite good and the story is set in two different timelines. One is based in the present time where Suraj Sharma, an NRI, who comes to India to get married while the other is set in the town of Phillauri and takes us back in time.
A priest tells Suraj’s family that in order to have a successful married life, he has to marry a tree. The tree that he is married to turns out to be a home to a ghost Shashi, played by Anushka Sharma. She starts haunting Suraj and eventually tells him about her side of the story. That’s when we are introduced to Diljit Dosanjh‘s character, who wants to be a singer.
Thus begins the fun and emotional journey of the friendly ghost, a soon-to-be-married guy, and the wannabe singer. What exactly happened in the past? Will Suraj be able to get married to his fiance? What is the fate of Shashi? We are longing to find out the answers to these questions and we can assure you that this movie will be a unique story with a fun Punjabi wedding.
Directed by Anshai Lal, the film also features Mehreen Pirzada. The movie will release on 24th March 2017.
