Phantom First Day Collection: Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif starer Phantom starts off on a low note at Box Office

Kabir Khan’s much anticipated release Phantom was finally released yesterday across the country. As expected, the movie starts off on a low note at Box Office. Despite having big names associated with it, the movie wasn’t able to create enough hype and buzz required for a good opening. As predicted by us, Phantom collected around 7 crores on its opening day at Box Office.
Released on around 2500 screens, the movie registered an occupancy of 25% to 30% across the country in the morning shows. The movie showed decent rise in occupancy in the evening and late night shows thanks to decent reviews from critics and positive WOM from audience.
The opening response in mass centers like U.P and Rajasthan was poor but in big cities dominated by multiplexes the response was quite good.
As per the early reports, Phantom has a better opening day than Saif Ali Khan’s previous releases like Happy Ending.

Phantom First Day Collection: 7 Crores (Early estimates)
The movie will surely see decent growth on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday being a holiday in most parts of the country because of Raksha bandhan.
Expect the movie to have a decent opening weekend of 28 crores. Phantom needs to perform really well in coming days in order to recover its budget and turns out to be a profitable venture to its makers.

Stay tuned for more Box Office updates.
