PadMan trailer review: The trailer of Akshay Kumar’s PadMan has been released. It is the story of Arunachalam Muruganantham.

PadMan has created good buzz on social media in the last 15 to 20 days thanks to Akshay Kumar. After revealing a series of posters in the last one month, the actor has finally revealed the trailer of the film. PadMan also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles.

America Ke Paas Superman Hai, Batman Hai, Spiderman Hai Aur India Ke Paas Hai Padman. The trailer of Akshay Kumar’s PadMan starts with this dialogue in the strong voice of Big B. The trailer shows the story of a man who is serious about women menstrual hygiene. Akshay Kumar has an idea to make sanitary napkins for women. He discusses this idea with his sister and wife. Akshay get the set back when his family and villagers leave him. Distressed by all this, a ray of hope comes in Akshay’s life in the form of a social worker (Sonam Kapoor) who helps him realise his passion and dream. Then starts the story of Padman. Akshay Kumar proves yet again why he currently the best actor in the industry. The best part about his movies is how easily he conveys the message through his charm and comic timing. He has done it in Jolly LLB 2, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and now he is back again with something extraordinary.

The other actors, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor are also at their best. Sonam Kapoor impresses as a young and strong social worker while Radhika steals the show with her infectious charm.

Directed by R. Balki, PadMan is a story of Padma Shri Arunachalam Muruganantham; the inventor of low-cost sanitary napkins for women in rural areas. The movie has been produced by Twinkle Khanna’s production house. PadMan is a project Akshay and Twinkle were eager to bring on the big screen for a long time.

The movie is slated for release on 26 Jan 2018 and will clash with Manoj Bajpayee and Sidharth Malhotra’s Aiyaary.
