November will be a thrilling month for movie and TV shows lovers. Some highly anticipated movies and shows are set to debut on various OTT platforms. Some of the big releases of Nov 2021 are Season 3 of crime thriller Narcos: Mexico, fantasy series The Wheel of Time and more. As we geared up for a festive month in India, here’s a look at top movies and shows releasing in November 2021.

Meenakshi Sundareshwar (Streaming on Netflix from Nov 5)

Featuring Abhimanyu Dassani and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles, Meenakshi Sundareshwar is a romantic story. The Netflix summary of the movie reads, “Forced to live apart due to a unique job prospect, two newlyweds face the hassles, hiccups — and hilarity — that arise from their long-distance marriage.”

Narcos: Mexico Season 3 (Streaming on Netflix from Nov 5)

The third and final instalment of Netflix’s popular crime drama Narcos: Mexico is one of the biggest releases of the month. Diego Luna’s cartel boss is gone. As newly independent cartels struggle to survive the political outbreak, we will see a new generation of Mexican kingpins emerge.

Red Notice (Streaming on Netflix from Nov 12)

Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, can you ask for a better star cast in an action movie? Well, these three will feature in Netflix’s action-thriller Red Notice premiering on the streamer on Nov 12, 2021.

The Netflix summary of the movie reads, “An FBI profiler pursuing the world’s most wanted art thief becomes his reluctant partner in crime to catch an elusive crook who’s always one step ahead.”

Jungle Cruise (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from Nov 12)

Starring Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt and Édgar Ramírez in lead roles, Jungle Cruise is a fantasy adventure movie. It follows the captain of a small riverboat who takes a scientist and her brother through a jungle in search of the Tree of Life. Dwayne Johnson starrer will stream on Disney+ Hotstar on Nov 12, 2021.

Special Ops 1.5 (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from Nov 12)

After the success of Special Ops, Neeraj Pandey is coming up with its spinoff series titled Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story. As per the reports, the 3-episode show will focus on Himmat Singh’s juvenile years as a RAW agent.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from Nov 12)

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is an American superhero movie based on Marvel Comics featuring the character Shang-Chi. The movie stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization.

Tiger King Season 2 (Streaming on Netflix from Nov 17)

The awaited second season of Tiger King arrives on Netflix on Nov 17, 2021. The second season of the true-crime docuseries will continue the story of Joe Exotic. “Tiger King is coming back this year – and season two promises just as much mayhem and madness as season one!” Netflix tweeted alongside an image of Joe Exotic.

The Wheel of Time (Streaming on Prime Video from Nov 19)

Probably, the biggest OTT release of November 2021. The Wheel of Time is Amazon’s answer to HBO’s Game of Thrones. The epic fantasy series is based on Robert Jordan’s novel series of the same name.

The series follows Rosamund Pike as Moiraine,  a member of the Aes Sedai, a powerful organization of women who can use magic. She guides five young people on an uncertain journey around the world. She believes that one of them just might be the reincarnation of the Dragon, a powerful individual divined to save the world…or destroy it.

Hellbound (Streaming on Netflix from Nov 19)

Korean dramas have become a new success recipe for Netflix. The streaming giant is coming up with yet another intense thriller titled Hellbound. Based on a webtoon of the same name, the supernatural series is about people who learn about when they’re going to die.

Dhamaka (Streaming on Netflix from Nov 19)

Based on the 2013 South Korean movie The Terror Live, the crime-thriller stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead role of a journalist named Arjun Pathak. He receives a threat after he exclusively interviewed a terrorist, who blew up a bridge. Dhamaka also stars Mrunal Thakur, Amruta Subhash, Vikas Kumar, and Vishwajeet Pradhan. Dhamaka will stream on Netflix from Nov 19, 2021.

Cowboy Bebop (Streaming on Netflix from Nov 21)

Cowboy Bebop is a sci-fi series starring tars John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, Daniella Pineda, Elena Satine, and Alex Hassell. It is a live-action adaptation of the Japanese anime series of the same name.

Hawkeye (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from Nov 24)

After the success of WandaVision, TFATWS and Loki, Marvel Studios is back with yet another superhero miniseries. Created by Jonathan Igla, the series is based on Marvel Comics characters Clint Barton / Hawkeye and Kate Bishop / Hawkeye.
