Robot 2.0 has already been tagged as the most expensive film in the history of Indian cinema. We have already informed you that the budget of the movie is whopping 350 crores. Now, we hear that the budget of the movie has been further increased by 50 crores, thus making it a 400 crores movie. The additional 50 crores will be spent on the enhancing the quality of VFX and special effects of the film.
Talking about film’s completion, Akshay Kumar is almost done with the shooting while Rajinikanth still has around 30-35 days shoot left. The film is around 75% completion.
Robot 2.0 is Indian’s first film to be completely shot in 3D. Robot 2.0 is the biggest film in the history of Indian cinema, even bigger than Bahubali and Bahubali 2. The makers of the movie have already started with the post-production work as it will take a lot of time.
The first look poster of 2.0 released a few days back has received huge appreciation from the trade, critics and audience.
Directed by Shankar, 2.0 stars Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson in lead roles. The movie will hit the theatres on Diwali 2017. It will be a solo release as Golmaal again has been preponed by two weeks.
