Taapsee Pannu starrer Naam Shabana had a good opening weekend at domestic box office.

After a good opening day with the collection of 5.12 crores, Taapsee Pannu starrer Naam Shabana witnessed good growth on Saturday and Sunday. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the movie was appreciated by the audience and managed to post decent first weekend numbers at the box office.

Naam Shabana First Weekend Collection: Day-wise Report

Released on 2100 screens, the movie started its box office journey on an average note and earned 5.12 crores on Friday. On Saturday, the movie witnessed good growth especially in metros and multiplexes. With the growth of 24.41%, Naam Shabana earned 6.37 crores on Saturday.

On Sunday, the movie took full advantage of the public holiday and recorded good growth. As per early estimates, Naam Shabana 3rd day collection will be in the range of 7.2 to 7.5 crores. The total first weekend collection of the movie stands at 18.7 crores.

Naam Shabana Budget& Verdict (Hit or Flop)

Naam Shabana is made on a budget of Rs 40 Crores including printing and advertising cost. The movie needs to earn at least 50 crores to be called a hit at the box office. The makers haven’t been able to manage the cost and the movie has recovered only 10 crores through satellite and music rights.

Naam Shabana has to rely on box office performance to emerge as a profitable venture for its makers. Monday will be a critical day in deciding where the movie will head from here.
