Alia Bhatt was the first choice of the makers of Raabta and she was approached to play the lead opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. Things were almost final but at the last moment, some issues came up. Alia’s team came up with excuses like date issues etc but they were not convincing enough.
Later on, when Alia was asked whether she would like to work with a star like Sushant in the future, Alia quickly ignored the question by saying she is very overwhelmed with the response and that she is hoping to hear more from people soon. Whatever the issue be, we are glad that Kriti Sanon landed the role as she and Sushant make an amazing pair!
