Money Heist Season 5 Release Date and Teaser

After waiting for so long, the official release date of Money Heist Season 5 has been announced. Its Sep 3, 2021. Well, here’s a twist. The full Season 5 will not be out on Netflix on September 3. Rather, the makers have decided to release the last season in two volumes. The first volume will release on Sep 3, 2021. Don’t lose hope, the tweet further confirmed that Volume two of the season will arrive on Netflix on December 3, 2021. Now, that’s more than just a good news. Another thing that would surprise you is the mind-blowing teaser. If you haven’t watched it yet, we have it here for you.

This overwhelming teaser thrilled everyone today. Oh, those perfect shots, Tokyo narrating, Denver punching against wall, Stockholm unconscious, Lisbon tied up, and that Professor look, made everyone go berserk.

In a press release, the series creator Álex Pina said this about Money Heist: Part 5:

“When we began to write Part 5 in the midst of the pandemic, we felt that we had to change what was expected from the ten-episode season and used every tool we could to create the sensation of a season finale or series finale in the first volume itself. We decided to work in an extremely aggressive genre, putting The Gang on the ropes. In Volume 2, we focus more on the emotional situation of the characters. It is a journey across their sentimental map that connects us directly to their departure.”

Here’s the what the official synopsis of season 5 reads:

“The gang has been shut in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours. They have managed to rescue Lisbon, but their darkest moment is upon them after losing one of their own. The Professor has been captured by Sierra and, for the first time, doesn’t have an escape plan. Just when it seems like nothing else could go wrong, an enemy comes on the scene that is much more powerful than any they’ve faced: the army. The end of the greatest heist in history is approaching, and what began as a robbery will turn into a war.”

Money Heist Season 5 Cast and Characters

Merely all the previous characters, including ‘Berlin’, will be there in the fifth season! The cast of season 5 eliminates Moscow and Oslo, obviously, and incorporates three new characters. Patrick Criado, José Manuel Seda, and Miguel Ángel Silvestre, respectively, portray these three characters. Alex Pina hinted about Miguel that he might become another opponent to the Professor and its team. Also, we have spotted Patrick and Berlin together in a picture that Pedro Alonso (Berlin) shared on his social media handle. Thus, we can conclude that he may be in the flashbacks with Berlin. You can see that post below.

We may see Nairobi glimpses of Nairobi in the flashbacks. Coming over to Gadia, the last season didn’t confirmed his death. He may still be alive. And if he is, we may be seeing him hurting everyone. All the other lead characters: The Professor, Lisbon, Tokyo, Rio, Denver, Stockholm, Palermo, Helsinki, Alicia, Arturo, Bogota, Marseille, and others will retain their place cast of Season 5.
